| Description: | The Licensed Practical Nurse works under the direction of the Physician and contributes to the assessment of the health status of individuals, participates in the development and modification of the plan of care, implements the appropriate aspects of the plan of care, maintains safe and effective nursing care, and participates in the evaluation of the responses to the plan of care.
There are two Full Time Openings
- 1 Day Shift, Weekend Option

| Duties: | Direct Patient Care
Asses patient in a systematic manner
Formulate nursing diagnosis based upon recorded data
Implement/evaluate patient care education strategies to promote health
Triage phone calls
Schedule all needed tests and pharmacy pick-ups
Continuous Nurse Education
Weekly review of Indiana State Department of Health Immunization Guidelines
Staff education regarding changes to clinical competencies
Non-Invasive/Invasive Procedures
EKG
Vision/Hearing
Lab draws
Wound dressings
Maintain Proper Daily Operations
Perform necessary sterilization of equipment and maintain required records
Responsible for inventory and order of needed clinical supplies and medications
Manage chart preparation |
| Qualifications: | Knowledge of pharmaceuticals, expected beneficial effects, potential side effects and be skilled in safe administration practices.
Knowledge of nursing care principles, procedures, and practices.
Ability to recognize adverse patient signs and symptoms and to react appropriately.
Must be able to identify and provide for age-specific patient needs.
Must be able to assess, interpret, and appropriately react to key data about a patient’s status.
Skill in operating job related medical equipment.
Minimum Position Qualifications
License Practical Nurse degree required
Previous physician office experience preferred
Must hold current Indiana Licensure.
CPR certification required.
