| Description: | The Nursing Assistant provides basic patient care and unit supportive functions under direction and supervision of a Registered Nurse.
There are Four CNA openings:
- One Full Time, Day Shift
- One Full Time, Night Shift
- Two Part Time, PRN |
| Duties: | General Responsibilities
Takes vital signs and documents activities of daily living on appropriate record in a timely manner.
Alters physical environment to meet the needs of the patient.
Participates in monitoring, identifying and reporting safety related issues.
Assists with admissions, daily care, transporting, and discharge of patients.
Assists patients with meals and nourishments.
Answers call lights.
Reports patient needs and/or unusual observations to appropriate nursing staff.
Provides psychological, physical comfort, and emotional support to patients and families.
Assists with all unit related activities, such as answering phones, supply maintenance, etc.

| Qualifications: | Minimum Position Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Prior experience in a healthcare related field preferred.
CPR certification required
