| Description: | The Laundry Technician performs various laundry services for the hospitals.
Must be available for evening and weekend shift work. |
| Duties: | Delivery/Pick-up Attendant
Picks up soiled linen from assigned units and/or delivers clean linen to assigned units throughout the hospital.
Keeps adequate amounts of each linen item stocked in each area and/or keeps soiled linen from accumulating.
Alerts Supervisor when conditions do not permit keeping adequate supplies of linen at each location and/or preventing soiled linen from accumulating.
Keeps shelves, carts, and racks neat and organized.
Production Workers
Performs various production tasks including:
- Running washing/drying equipment.
- Hand folding linens.
- Places folded linen into carts, trays, and other storage items.
- Putting orders of clean linen together.
- Delivers items to various parts of the hospitals.
Ensures quality control by:
- Properly sorting linens, checking for stains, holes, and other defects.
- Neatly folding linens.

| Qualifications: | Will provide on-the-job training.
Minimum Position Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
If required, must maintain good driving record and be eligible for insurance.
