| Description: | The Practice Manager oversees operations for Woman's Clinic and Lafayette OB/GYN, a 10 physician and 3 mid-level provider OB/GYN practice located in a brand new state-of-the-art clinic in Lafayette, Indiana. The Practice Manager administers, directs and coordinates all activities of the physician office to carry out its objectives and the mission of the Sister of St. Francis Health Services, Inc. (SSFHS).

| Duties: | This position oversees operations, the application and implementation of established policies, governing authorities, the medical staff and departments, and the control and effective utilization of physical and financial resources. The Practice Manager works collaboratively with practice physicians to ensure the efficient and effective daily operation of the practice including the supervision and evaluation of the practice staff.
This position requires critical thinking skills, ability to oversee budgeting process, ability to develop strong internal and external working relationships, and strong analytic capabilities. A sound knowledge of principles of good management as well as practices, conditions and trends in the health care field, and an understanding of standards and governmental regulations that will have an impact on operations is also needed in this position.
The Practice Manager reports to the Regional Physician Practice Executive Director.

| Qualifications: | Bachelors degree in Hospital or Business Administration or related field required.
A Masters degree is preferred.
At least five years experience in physician practice management is also preferred. |
